NHSBT Single Equality Scheme 2008 to 2011 -
'Towards Equality and Beyond'
NHSBT is committed to promoting diversity and equality of opportunity for all staff, customers, patients, and donors. To meet this commitment we have developed a Single Equality Scheme to demonstrate how we will promote equality and eliminate discrimination in relation to race, disability, gender (including transgender) age, sexual orientation, religion and/or belief.
The Single Equality Scheme sets out our commitment to diversity and equality and a plan of action for NHSBT that will cover the next three years.
NHSBT is required by law to ensure that all staff are aware and have the opportunity to be involved in the development of the Single Equality Scheme. The documents outline the ongoing activities and plans to meet NHSBT's statutory duties to promote race, disability and gender equality.More on the single equality scheme
