1 BACKGROUND
At their last meeting members of the Kidney and Pancreas
Advisory Group agreed general guidelines for the selection
of children for transplantation drafted by
Dr Heather Maxwell.
These guidelines have subsequently been considered and agreed by the British Association of Paediatric Nephrology.
